At the location of the Fala Hydro Power Plant – the oldest functional large hydro power plant in Slovenia, visitors may see a well-preserved horizontal Francis turbine in the historical part of the plant where the original engine room was housed. In 2008, the Fala Hydro Power Plant was declared a cultural monument of national importance by a decree of the Government of the Republic of Slovenia.
