The Company Dravske elektrarne Maribor d.o.o. (DEM) is a leading enterprise in the field of efficient utilization of renewable energy sources (RES) in Slovenia, which, with its development-oriented approach, ensures high-quality energy in an environmentally friendly manner, aiming for economic success and harmonious sustainable development of the environment and the market in which it operates. Through efficient use of RES and optimal allocation of its own resources, it aims to maintain its position as the leading hydroenergy system in Slovenia, while also establishing itself in commercially attractive areas through strategic partnerships and meaningful expansion of activities. Special attention is devoted to investments and implementation of new RES production sources/projects as a strategic development area of the company and upgrading existing production capacities using the best available technologies (BAT) to increase reliability and operational efficiency.

The scope of the quality management system at DEM includes a quality management system in accordance with ISO 9001:2015 standard, environmental management according to ISO 14001:2015 standard, occupational health and safety according to ISO 45001:2018 standard, information security according to ISO/IEC 27001:2022 standard, asset management system according to ISO 55001:2014 standard, and a Family-Friendly Company Certificate.

The company's management policy is derived from the strategic directions of Holding Slovenske elektrarne d.o.o. (HSE), which is the sole owner and shareholder of DEM.
